Meet Patty Arcos, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Patty Arcos was born and raised in a small town in Ecuador. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2011 and went on to complete a one year residency in General Dentistry, where she provided dental care to underserved communities in rural areas near her hometown.

To further her education and professional development, Dr. Arcos moved to the United States, where she completed two years of rigorous postdoctoral training through the Advanced
Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Connecticut School of Dental
Medicine.

Dr. Arcos has a passion for general and cosmetic dentistry. She strongly believes that continuing
education and staying current with the latest dental technologies and techniques are essential
to providing exceptional care to her patients.

FAGD Fellowship

In 2022, I became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. The Fellowship Award (FAGD)
is presented to dentists who demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality of
dental care through ongoing education and staying current with advancements in the
profession.

Community Service

Dr. Arcos and Dr. Velastegui have made serving underserved communities an important part of
their dental careers. Together, they have traveled to Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico on
numerous dental service trips and have participated in community service programs
throughout the United States.
